Here is the ceiling of the east side of the porch. The wood in there against the house is in incredible shape - looks like its almost new and it's been there for 70+ years. |

Here's a mid construction photo. The deck is gone and you can see the sledgehammer coming down to destroy the old concrete steps. About 1 millisecond after this photo, the sledgehammer handle busted in two. |

And here's the final product. The entire porch and columns has been removed. All that remains is some temporary supports to hold the roof up while the new porch is being built. |
