First Floor Bathroom Project - Week 7-11 (Jul 14-Aug 17)

Haven't done as many updates as I'd prefer, but times have been a little busier than usual. In addition to the bathroom, we are working on the exterior pain job and a half dozen other items around the house in preparation for the September 23 Old Westside Homes Tour.

Since the last update, I've trimmed the bathroom out (added wainscotting, chair rail, base boards and shoe molding) and tiled the floor. It's taken a lot more time than I ever thought it would.

View of the west wall. Everything is blinding "primer" white. Wou can see the beadboard and trim out around the wall and windows. Granted, when painted, the woodwork will go from a flat primer white to a gloss white, so it won't change that much. The walls above the chair rail will be a light powder blue.
North west corner. You can see how the shelf in front of the medicin cabinet is the same height and blends into the chair rail. Beleive it or not, I did that on purpose! The blue tape covers the outlets and switches.
North East corner of the room. Sorry for such small incremental changes, but it's a very small room and getting any sort of shot is sort of tough in there.
East wall showing the door. I kept the original door trim/casing, but shouldn't have as they are more beat up then I wanted. In the end, I couldn't kleep the back band either and had to build a new one.
Finally, the incredibly boring south wall.
